A few hours later...
I told Springy the story and used the audio track (since my throat can just about cope with speaking). Springy loved it and lay down near my feet, stretched out and very relaxed so she was really listening.

We had a Sunday roast which C made and then Springy and I made the dessert - fairy cakes with sprinkles on. I had mine dipped in a decaff coffee. I haven't baked fairy cakes with Springy for quite a while - she was very adept at cracking the eggs today.
