Sierra Leone

My niece is working in Sierra Leone at the moment. This is a fascinating (and sad) insight into what life is like for many of the children there:

Part of me wonders whether the Waldorf approach is the right one for these children. I would imagine that a blend of Montessori lifeskills and independence as well as Waldorf creativity and gentleness would work better since many of these children are orphans.
